Deut.27:1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
Deut.27:2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
Deut.27:3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
Deut.27:4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, [that] ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
Deut.27:5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron [tool] upon them.
Deut.27:6 Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
Deut.27:7 And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
Deut.27:8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
Deut.27:9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
Deut.27:10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
Deut.27:11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
Deut.27:12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
Deut.27:13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
Deut.27:14 And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
Deut.27:15 Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any] graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth [it] in [a] secret [place]. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
Deut.27:16 Cursed [be] he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:17 Cursed [be] he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:18 Cursed [be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:19 Cursed [be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:20 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:21 Cursed [be] he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:22 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:23 Cursed [be] he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:24 Cursed [be] he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:25 Cursed [be] he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.27:26 Cursed [be] he that confirmeth not [all] the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
Deut.28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe [and] to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
Deut.28:2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Deut.28:3 Blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.
Deut.28:4 Blessed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Deut.28:5 Blessed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
Deut.28:6 Blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and blessed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out.
Deut.28:7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
Deut.28:8 The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Deut.28:9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.
Deut.28:10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
Deut.28:11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
Deut.28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
Deut.28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do [them]:
Deut.28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
Deut.28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Deut.28:16 Cursed [shalt] thou [be] in the city, and cursed [shalt] thou [be] in the field.
Deut.28:17 Cursed [shall be] thy basket and thy store.
Deut.28:18 Cursed [shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Deut.28:19 Cursed [shalt] thou [be] when thou comest in, and cursed [shalt] thou [be] when thou goest out.

Ps.119:1 ALEPH. Blessed [are] the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
Ps.119:2 Blessed [are] they that keep his testimonies, [and that] seek him with the whole heart.
Ps.119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Ps.119:4 Thou hast commanded [us] to keep thy precepts diligently.
Ps.119:5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Ps.119:6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
Ps.119:7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
Ps.119:8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Ps.119:9 BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed [thereto] according to thy word.
Ps.119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Ps.119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Ps.119:12 Blessed [art] thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
Ps.119:13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
Ps.119:14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as [much as] in all riches.
Ps.119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
Ps.119:16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Ps.119:17 GIMEL. Deal bountifully with thy servant, [that] I may live, and keep thy word.
Ps.119:18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
Ps.119:19 I [am] a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
Ps.119:20 My soul breaketh for the longing [that it hath] unto thy judgments at all times.
Ps.119:21 Thou hast rebuked the proud [that are] cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
Ps.119:22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
Ps.119:23 Princes also did sit [and] speak against me: [but] thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
Ps.119:24 Thy testimonies also [are] my delight [and] my counsellors.

Is.54:1 Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
Is.54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;
Is.54:3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Is.54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Is.54:5 For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
Is.54:6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.
Is.54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.
Is.54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
Is.54:9 For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
Is.54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Is.54:11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
Is.54:12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
Is.54:13 And all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace of thy children.
Is.54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
Is.54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.
Is.54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
Is.54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that] shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

Matt.2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
Matt.2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
Matt.2:3 When Herod the king had heard [these things], he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
Matt.2:4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
Matt.2:5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
Matt.2:6 And thou Bethlehem, [in] the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
Matt.2:7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
Matt.2:8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found [him], bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.
Matt.2:9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
Matt.2:10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
Matt.2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Matt.2:12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
Matt.2:13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Matt.2:14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
Matt.2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
Matt.2:16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men.
Matt.2:17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,
Matt.2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping [for] her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.
Matt.2:19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
Matt.2:20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
Matt.2:21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
Matt.2:22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
Matt.2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
